Where do I check in?
Upon arrival to the Clanard Court Hotel, you will see our Christmas Pavilion on the left hand side of the car park. Please go to the Christmas Pavilion to register.
If you are on a sleepover, please check in at the Hotel reception first and then proceed to the Christmas Pavilion.
Do I need a ticket for a baby?
Yes, all children and babies regardless of age must have a ticket. The baby will receive a present from Santa and can take part in the full Santa experience.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is ample free car parking with 250 free car spaces and 4 disabled spaces.
Can I bring a buggy for my child?
You are welcome to take your buggy through the trail, however the experience is more enjoyable if you leave the buggy in our Buggy Park in the Christmas Pavilion. Buggy’s are not permitted on the Carriage part of the trail.
Can you have a wheelchair on the carriage?
Unfortunately no – however, Santa’s Farm is only a short distance on an easy path from the Carriage stop. Allow approximately 5 minutes to get to the Farm.
How long is Santa’s Magical Trail?
Santa’s Magical Trail lasts approximately 75 minutes. Your Start time will be stated on you ticket. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your trail time to receive your passes. Please allow sufficient time for unforeseen delays (e.g. weather, traffic delays etc.)
What do I need to bring with me?
You will need: your printed ticket or confirmation of your booking, smartphone email confirmation is sufficient
Dress appropriately (this is both an indoor and outdoor event).
Is Santa’s Magical Trail an indoor or outdoor event?
The event is both an indoor and outdoor event, so please dress appropriately. The majority of the trail is, however, mostly inside.
I entered details incorrectly when I made a booking, how do I change them?
To make any changes to your booking, please phone the Clanard Court Hotel on 059 8640666 and have your reference number ready.
Will a professional photo be taken with Santa?
The Festive Photo is a photo taken in front of a blank screen which you then add a festive background to. However, you are welcome to bring your camera to take your own photo with Santa on the day.
What do I do if I don’t like the gift my child receives?
All our presents are age/gender appropriate and chosen with care to appeal to the broader tastes of each particular age group. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your gift.
What happens if I am late arriving?
We cannot guarantee that you will be able go on the trail unless we have received cancellations from trail times after you arrive.
Do I need to pre-book or can I just buy tickets when I arrive at Santa’s Magical Trail?
Tickets must be pre-purchase via the Santa’s Magical Trail website. We cannot guarantee places will be available if you just arrive on the day and you may be turned away.
I don’t have a computer, how do I make a booking?
If you do not have a computer to make a booking, you can phone the Clanard Court Hotel on 059 8640666 to make your booking. You must have a credit or debit card ready to book over the phone.
What do I do if my ticket receipt has not been emailed to me?
Tickets will automatically be emailed to the address you entered upon payment of your tickets. Tickets must be paid for at time of booking. Please telephone Clanard Court Hotel on 059 8640666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you still encounter problems.
My printer is not working, how do I print off my ticket?
Take note of your Reference number or keep your email on your smartphone and you can present this on arrival.
Can I book a group of people on Santa’s Magical Trail?
Yes, you can book in a group of people on the trail. Group bookings of up to 50 people can be accepted through the website subject to availability. However, if you require private dining or other services in conjunction with your visit, please contact the Hotel on 059 864 0666.
I need to add an extra child/adult in with our family. How can I do this?
To make any changes to your booking, please phone the Hotel on 059 8640666.
Are there dining facilities?
Yes! Our Christmas Pavillion has had coffee dock serving Tea/Coffee, pastries and sweets. As part of your booking on Santa’s Magical Trail, you will also receive a 10% discount voucher on your food bill when dining in Bailey’s Bar & Bistro or selected outlets on the day of your trail. This voucher is not valid at the coffee dock.
Can I reserve a table?
We have ample dining areas available so there is no need to book your table in advance, unless you have a group booking of 20 or more people.
Can I get a refund if I find out, after I book, that we cannot come on that day because someone is sick/working?
Tickets are non-refundable, however in some cases we may be able to transfer your booking to another date subject to availability.
Can I receive a refund due to adverse weather conditions?
No, sorry you cannot receive a refund due to adverse weather conditions, unless Management cancels the Trail on the day for health & safety reasons. In this case, you will be offered an alternative date or, failing that, a full refund.
Why is there a booking fee?
The booking fee covers charges that are levied on us and pay for credit/debit card processing services, the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software and all other costs associated with the ticket transaction.
Are pets allowed?
No, only guide dogs
